Program Operation
The sections below describe how to install load and run this program
on your system.
NOTE: Make sure your ANSI.SYS driver is installed.
Your CONFIG.SYS file needs the following line;
DEVICE = c:\dos\ansi.sys
Where "c:\dos\" is the path where your ANSI.SYS file is located
Installing onto a hard or floppy disk
1). Create a directory (slot) where you wish to install the program.
type MD LKY7 or MD SLOT
2). Use the DOS "COPY" command to move all files onto your hard disk
(or floppy disk). For example: "COPY A:*.* C:" copies the files
from the floppy disk in drive "A:" onto hard disk "C:".
That's how simple installing can be!
Running from Floppy disk
1. Boot DOS (version 2.0 or later) on your system.
2. Put the LUCKY SEVEN Master disk into drive A.
3. Logon to drive A: by typing: "A:"
4. To run the program directly type: lky777
The floppy drive should start up, and within 10 seconds the title
screen, which contains program revision information, should appear on
your monitor screen. LUCKY SEVEN is up and running!
Running from Hard disk
Before you can run this from hard disk you must first install it.
Installing is simply a matter of copying all files onto the hard disk.
Once installed on hard disk you can run it by following these steps:
1. Boot DOS (version 2.0 or later) on your system.
2. Use the CD command to go into the directory that this program
was installed into. If the directory is mentioned in the DOS
system PATH string, you don't need to do this step.
3. To run program type: lky777
The hard drive should start up, and within a few seconds the programs
title screen, which contains program revision information, should
appear on your monitor screen. LUCKY SEVEN is up and running!
After you have installed the program onto your hard disk, be sure to
put the original LUCKY SEVEN Master Disk in a safe place. For a
diskette a "safe" place means someplace that is free from magnetic
fields, dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
How to use the programs.
1. To run LUCKY SEVEN type "LKY777".
2. To run the accounting utility type "L7INFO"
**************************************************************************
About LUCKY SEVEN and the L7INFO utility.
LUCKY SEVEN
When the Lucky Seven slot screen appears you have 3 choices.
D Deposit a coin. Youn can deposit up to three coins.
S Spin the wheels. If you deposit 3 coins the wheels will
spin automatically.
C Cash in. Hit this when finished. All stats on wins/losses
will be saved to disk as will all jackpot totals.
There is a seperate progressive jackpot for each machine. These
totals are stored in L7JP.DAT. They come set at 0. If you would
like to start these jackpots off with a little money open the
L7JP.DAT with your text editor/word processor. The values are
stored in the following format:
(1 dollar jp),(25 cent jp),(50 cent jp)
IMPORTANT: Make sure when finished you save the file to disk as
a text file.
If a player should end the program and clears the screen before
wins/losses can be paid/collected, don't worry. The info has been
in the L7STATS.DAT file. To view this file run the L7INFO
utility that comes with this program.
L7INFO
Use this utility to:
* view each players wins/losses
* view how much has been bet on your machines
* view how much has been returned
* view how much profit the house (you) have made
* view totals of all jackpots
Eventhough L7STATS.DAT has the results of all players, L7INFO
displays results of the last 10 players only. House totals
on the other hand are displayed from all the players stats
that are stored in L7STATS.DAT.
